  1. Population and dissenters: We compute the Families in our Parish to be about 70 several of them 2 in a house. We have no Dissenters.

  2. Public or charity schools: We have none.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: We have none: but an annuity of 40s distributed at Xtmass & Easter by the Minr and Parish officers amongst poor people who have no weekly pay.

  4. Residence upon cure: I R. Luck live in Barnstaple, on account of my being licens'd Mr of the Grammar School there: which having resign'd, I reside 2 or 3 days in the week upon my Vicarage House in W:Down at Festival times more days.

  5. Curate: No Curate, I officiate my self.

  6. Divine service at other churches: I attend no Church but my own.

  7. Frequency of divine service: I preach in the forenoon, and read Prayers in the afternoon.

  8. Frequency of communion: Constantly three times. viz. Christmass, Easter and Whitsuntide.

  9. Number of communicants: Sometimes 20, Sometimes 24 or 25, especially at Easter. Sometimes fewer.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children come to be Catechiz'd on Sundays in the afternoon; mostly in the Summer Season; and say their Catechism well.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: None.
